Jared M. Britton LC, IALD, IESNA
Senior Residential Project ManagerMr. Britton is a graduate from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a degree in Architectural Engineering with an emphasis in Lighting Design. Mr. Britton has been applying his craft for 5 years in the intermountain west including a three year stint in Aspen, Colorado designing interior and landscape lighting on multi-million dollar residences. Mr. Britton is also certified in advanced AGI computer lighting rendering software and a certified LiteTouch designer as well.
David M. Schad, IESNA
Senior Associate Lighting DesignerDavid M. Schad was the founder of Designed Illumination, an architectural lighting design company in central Ohio, prior to joining Adaptive Design Group. He specialized in high end commercial and residential projects from Florida to the Rockies. He has been practicing architectural lighting design since 1981 and received the International Illumination Design Award of Merit from IESNA for his design of the “M” Restaurant, Columbus, Ohio. He received the Certificate of Technical Knowledge from IESNA. Lighting Design experience includes lighting for sanctuaries, auditoriums for religious, educational and private facilities. Experienced in stage/theatrical lighting design, control, aiming, focusing and programming of lighting instruments. Exterior illumination design for historical buildings, religious buildings and monuments.
Jeremy Johnston, LC
Associate Lighting DesignerMr. Johnston is a graduate of the University of Utah with a degree in Environment and Behavior. Jeremy has been practicing lighting design for high-end residential and commercial projects for six years in Portland, Oregon and Phoenix, Arizona. He is a certified designer for Lutron and LiteTouch lighting control systems.
Sean M. Dow
CADD ManagerMr. Dow has been with Adaptive Design Group since October of 2003. He has been the Computer Aided Drafting & Design Manager since January 2004. He also works within the office as the IT Director. He is a factory certified designer and programmer for Lutron, Litetouch and Vantage integrated lighting controls. He has 9 years experience working with CADD. He has an Associates Degree from Salt Lake Community College. He is currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Business Administration and Information Systems at Utah State University.
Shay Taylor, CCPI, CCPD
Associate Electonic Systems DesignerMr. Taylor has been involved in Electronic System design and installation for the past 10 years. He joined the Adaptive Team in October 2006, was made an associate designer in March 2007, and is currently the head of the Electronic Systems Department. He is also a CEDIA certified installer. He is trained to program Lutron, Crestron, and Vantage control systems.
Chari Peterson, IESNA
Junior Associate Lighting DesignerMiss Peterson graduated from Brigham Young University- Idaho in April of 2008 with her degree in Interior Design. She joined the Adaptive Team in April of 2007 as their summer intern and returned upon graduation to continue to learn and grow as a lighting designer.
